Summary of the 2nd International School on Atomic and Molecular Data Evaluation and Curation
Between the 21st and the 24th of September 2025, the second International School on Atomic and Molecular Data Evaluation and Curation (ISAMDEC) was held at the Palacio de Congresos Conde Ansúrez, of the University of Valladolid. It was organized by our research group, in collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Valladolid and the Spanish Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación (Research grant No. PID2022-137632OB-I00).
During this school, 37 participants from 13 different countries came together in Valladolid to learn from experts in the field, about atomic and molecular calculations and experiments, as well as how to operate within the currently existing databases. Thirteen speakers from nine different institutions, including two members of our research group, delivered lectures covering a wide arrange of topics from uncertainty calculations to FAIR data principles and database operation.
